Dispense Stop: Vehicle Request (Tritium)

Updated March 2026

Share

This is general guidance based on the ChargeX MREC standard. Actual charger behavior varies by manufacturer and firmware version. Always follow on-screen instructions and contact the charging network if you are unsure.

Warning

The vehicle sent a stop command to the Tritium charger. This is normal behavior when the battery reaches the target state of charge or when the vehicle's battery management system ends the session.

What to do

  1. Check your vehicle's charge level. It may have reached its target
  2. If the charge level is lower than expected, check if your vehicle has a charge limit set
  3. If the battery is very cold or very hot, the vehicle may have stopped charging to protect the battery
  4. Start a new session if you need more charge
