Warning
Your vehicle is asking for less power than the charger can provide. This is normal in certain situations: the battery is nearly full, the battery is very hot or cold, or the vehicle's onboard charger is limiting current to protect itself.
What to do
- This is often normal behavior, not an error. Check your state of charge
- If the battery is above 80%, charging speed naturally decreases
- If the battery is cold, speed will increase as the battery warms up
- If this happens consistently at low state of charge, contact your vehicle manufacturer
