Critical
Your Mercedes-Benz is displaying a message that charging is not possible. This can appear due to a fault in the vehicle's charging system, an incompatible charger, extreme battery temperature, or a 12V battery issue.
What to do
- Check the MBUX or Mercedes me app for more details about the fault
- Try a different charger. If the message goes away, the charger was the issue
- If the battery is very cold or very hot, wait for it to reach a moderate temperature
- Check that the charge port flap is fully open and the port is clean
- If the error persists, schedule a service appointment. The onboard charger or high-voltage system may need inspection
Who's responsible?
- This may be a vehicle issue
