What to do
- Try a different charger to see if the error follows your vehicle
- Restart your BMW (turn off, wait 2 minutes, turn on) and try again
- Check if the charge port is clean and free of debris
- If the error persists across multiple chargers, contact BMW service. The onboard charger may need diagnosis
