This is general guidance based on the ChargeX MREC standard. Actual charger behavior varies by manufacturer and firmware version. Always follow on-screen instructions and contact the charging network if you are unsure.

Warning

The charger thinks a session is already running on your account or on this connector. This can happen if a previous session was not ended properly.

What to do

  1. Check the charging network's app. You may have a ghost session that needs to be stopped
  2. Try ending any active sessions in the app before starting a new one
  3. Try a different connector on the same charger
  4. Contact the network's support to manually end the stuck session

  • This may be something you can fix yourself
