Charging in the dark? Scan the screen for help seeing it.

The situation

You are at a charger after dark and the screen is hard to read. Maybe the backlight is dim, maybe there is glare from a streetlight, maybe the screen is positioned at an awkward angle. You can see shapes and colors but cannot quite make out the text to understand what it is telling you.

How the scanner helps

The scanner captures the screen and enhances it so you can read it on your phone. Your phone screen is brighter, closer, and you can zoom in. It also identifies and explains the screen content, so even if the charger display is barely visible, you know exactly what it says and what to do.

What to do

  1. 1

Point the scanner at the charger screen, even if it is hard to read

  2. 2

Read the enhanced and explained content on your brighter phone screen

  3. 3

Follow the steps shown on your phone instead of squinting at the charger

  4. 4

Use your phone's flashlight to find the connector and charge port if needed
