"Charge complete." Can you unplug now? Scan to be sure.

The situation

The charger screen says charging is complete, or finished, or done. But the connector is still locked. Or the screen shows a different percentage than your dashboard. Or there are buttons on the screen and you are not sure if you need to tap something before unplugging. You do not want to damage the connector by pulling too hard.

How the scanner helps

Scan the completion screen and the scanner walks you through the disconnect process for this specific charger. It tells you whether you need to end the session on screen first, whether idle fees are about to start, and how to safely release the connector. No yanking cables and hoping for the best.

What to do

  1. 1

Scan the charge complete screen on the charger

  2. 2

Check if the scanner identifies an end-session step before unplugging

  3. 3

Follow the disconnect instructions for this charger type

  4. 4

Check for any idle fee warnings before walking away
