What Does Power Module Offline (Tritium) Mean on an EV Charger?

This is general guidance based on Tritium Charging. Actual charger behavior varies by manufacturer and firmware version. Always follow on-screen instructions and contact the charging network if you are unsure. If anything looks or feels unsafe, stop charging and move away from the charger.

Warning

One or more power modules in the Tritium charger are offline. The charger may still work but at reduced power output. For example, a 150 kW charger might only deliver 75 kW.

  1. Don't unplug while the charger is active. Wait for the screen to update.
  2. Try stopping and restarting the session from the charging app or RFID card.
  3. If the error persists, move to a different connector or charger if available.
