Critical
The Tritium charger failed to establish CHAdeMO communication with the vehicle. The CAN bus handshake between the charger and car did not complete successfully.
What to do
- Unplug, wait 15 seconds, and try again
- Make sure the CHAdeMO connector is fully seated. It requires a firm push
- Check that the vehicle charge port is clean and undamaged
- If using an adapter, try without it. Some adapters cause communication issues
- Try a CCS connector instead if your vehicle supports it
