Warning
Your vehicle does not recognize the charging connector. This can happen if the connector type is incompatible, the plug is not fully seated, or there is a communication issue during the initial handshake.
What to do
- Remove the connector and reinsert it firmly until it clicks
- Make sure you are using the correct connector type for your vehicle (CCS, CHAdeMO, Type 2)
- Check the charge port for debris or ice blocking a full connection
- Try a different charger. Some charger-vehicle combinations have compatibility issues
