Share

This is general guidance based on the ChargeX MREC standard. Actual charger behavior varies by manufacturer and firmware version. Always follow on-screen instructions and contact the charging network if you are unsure.

Warning

The charger has lost its connection to the backend network. It may not be able to process payments or start new sessions. Some chargers can still work in offline mode with certain RFID cards.

What to do

  1. Try starting a session with an RFID card. Some chargers support offline RFID authorization
  2. Wait 2 to 3 minutes and try again. The connection may recover
  3. Try a different charger at the same location
  4. Report the connectivity issue to the charging network

Who's responsible?

  • The charging network operator needs to fix this
  • This is likely a charger hardware issue
