This is general guidance based on the ChargeX MREC standard. Actual charger behavior varies by manufacturer and firmware version. Always follow on-screen instructions and contact the charging network if you are unsure.

Critical

The DC charger's pre-charge isolation test detected a potential electrical fault in the cable or connection. The charger will not deliver power until this safety check passes.

What to do

  1. Unplug, wait 15 seconds, and reconnect
  2. Make sure the connector is dry and free of debris
  3. Try a different connector or charger
  4. If this happens repeatedly, report the charger to the network
