This is general guidance based on the ChargeX MREC standard. Actual charger behavior varies by manufacturer and firmware version. Always follow on-screen instructions and contact the charging network if you are unsure.

Critical

The Efacec charger lost communication with the vehicle during charging. The data link between the charger and the vehicle's battery management system was interrupted.

What to do

  1. Check that the connector is firmly plugged in
  2. Try starting a new charging session
  3. If the error occurs immediately, the vehicle may have a communication issue. Try a different charger brand
  4. Report the issue to both the network and your vehicle dealer if it keeps happening
