This is general guidance based on the ChargeX MREC standard. Actual charger behavior varies by manufacturer and firmware version. Always follow on-screen instructions and contact the charging network if you are unsure.

Critical

The Efacec charger detected a relay or contactor fault. The internal switching mechanism that controls power delivery has failed.

What to do

  1. Do not attempt to restart. This is a hardware safety fault
  2. Move to a different charger
  3. Report the fault to the charging network with the charger ID and error message
  4. This requires a technician repair
