This is general guidance based on the ChargeX MREC standard. Actual charger behavior varies by manufacturer and firmware version. Always follow on-screen instructions and contact the charging network if you are unsure.

Critical

The ABB charger lost communication with the vehicle during the charging session. This can happen due to a loose connector, a vehicle-side fault, or a protocol mismatch.

What to do

  1. Unplug and re-seat the connector firmly
  2. Try starting a new session
  3. If it happens immediately, the vehicle may not be compatible with this charger's protocol version
  4. Try a different charger at the same location
  5. Report the issue to the charging network
