Winter Range

Škoda Enyaq Winter Range

Updated March 2026

The Skoda Enyaq supports preconditioning and has a heat pump available depending on market and trim. Based on what our users tell us, the Enyaq's efficient 16.9 kWh per 100 km consumption helps limit cold-weather range loss even without the heat pump. At -10C with a heat pump, expect about 20% less range from the 455 km rating. In cold weather, expect roughly 428 km at -10°C, a loss of about 27%. These are estimates and your actual range will vary. Check your vehicle's manual for exact specifications.

Maximizing Winter Range

  • Precondition the Enyaq via the Skoda Connect app while plugged in. This warms the cabin and battery from grid power, preserving the full range of the 77 kWh battery for driving.
  • Use the Enyaq's heated seats, heated steering wheel, and heated windshield as your primary comfort sources in cold weather. They are far more energy-efficient than the cabin heater.
  • Keep the Enyaq plugged in when parked outdoors in freezing conditions. A warm battery delivers better range, more power, and faster DC charging when you need it.
  • Navigate to fast chargers through the car's infotainment system to trigger battery preconditioning. This ensures the Enyaq's 135 kW DC charging speed is available even in cold weather.
  • The Enyaq's low baseline consumption means cold-weather losses are smaller in absolute terms than in less efficient EVs. Even in deep winter, its efficiency advantage translates to lower charging costs per kilometer.
