The situation

You plugged in expecting fast charging, but the screen shows a much lower power number than you expected. Maybe 22 kW instead of 150 kW. Or the power keeps dropping. You do not know if this is normal, if something is wrong with the charger, or if your car is the one limiting the speed.

How the scanner helps

Scan the charging screen and the scanner explains the power readout in context. It tells you whether the speed is being limited by the charger, by your car's battery management system, by temperature, or by power sharing with another vehicle at the same station. You will know whether to wait it out or move to a different charger.

What to do

  1. 1

Scan the charger screen showing the current power delivery

  2. 2

Check if the scanner identifies power sharing, temperature limiting, or taper as the cause

  3. 3

Scan your car's dashboard charging screen for additional details

  4. 4

Decide whether to wait or find a faster charger based on the explanation
