Winter Range

Maxus eDeliver 3 Winter Range

Updated March 2026

The Maxus eDeliver 3 faces a tough time in winter with its 52.5 kWh battery, no heat pump, and no preconditioning. Its 190 km rated range is already on the shorter side, and cold weather cuts into it significantly. Drivers using our app report that winter route planning is essential to avoid getting caught short. In cold weather, expect roughly 179 km at -10°C, a loss of about 27%. These are estimates and your actual range will vary. Check your vehicle's manual for exact specifications.

Maximizing Winter Range

  • Expect about 35% range loss at -20C (about 124 km) and about 25% at -10C (about 143 km) without a heat pump. That is tight for many delivery routes.
  • Minimize cabin heating and rely on seat heating and warm clothing. The eDeliver 3's resistive heater draws heavily from the relatively small 52.5 kWh battery.
  • Park in a heated space overnight whenever possible. Without preconditioning, starting the day with a cold battery means reduced range from the first kilometer.
  • Plan shorter, tighter routes in winter. With potentially only 124 km of WLTP rated range at -20C, every unnecessary detour risks leaving you short.
  • Charge to 100% on cold days when you know you will need the range. The eDeliver 3's limited buffer makes the extra capacity from a full charge worth the slightly slower final charging phase.
