Tips for Charging with ABC-lataus in Finland
- ABC service stations are well-known across Finland. Most highway ABC stations now have fast chargers, making them natural stopping points.
- CCS2 is the only connector type. This is the standard for all DC fast charging in Finland.
- S-Group loyalty card holders may get benefits when charging at ABC-lataus. Check current offers through the S-mobiili app.
- ABC stations have restaurants, shops, and restrooms. A charging stop here is also a good time for a coffee break.
- Coverage extends well into northern Finland, which is important for longer trips where charger spacing matters.
Common Issues
- App is the primary payment method. Newer stations have contactless card terminals, but prepare the app in advance.
- Popular ABC stations along the E75 and other main highways can be occupied during holiday traffic.
- The 200 kW maximum is fast but not ultra-rapid. If your car supports higher speeds, it will charge at 200 kW max here.
Finland has several other charging operators with highway coverage, offering a range of speeds and pricing options.
