Winter Range
Citroën e-C4 Winter Range
Updated March 2026
The Citroen e-C4's 320 km range makes it comfortable in warmer months, but cold weather reduces that noticeably. Drivers using our app report that at -10C, range drops by about 20% with the optional heat pump or 25-30% without. At -20C, expect around 28% loss with the heat pump and 35-40% without it. In cold weather, expect roughly 307 km at -10°C, a loss of about 27%. These are estimates and your actual range will vary. Check your vehicle's manual for exact specifications.

Maximizing Winter Range
- Schedule the climate system to warm the cabin while the e-C4 is plugged in. Starting warm means the heater draws less from the battery during your drive.
- Use the e-C4's Eco mode in winter. It optimizes power delivery and climate control to maximize range in cold conditions.
- Heated seats are your best friend in winter. They keep you warm with a fraction of the energy the cabin heater uses.
- Keep the e-C4 in a sheltered parking spot overnight. A warmer battery in the morning means better range and more efficient regenerative braking from the start.
- Plan for about 225-260 km of realistic winter range. On cold days, shorter trips with planned charging stops avoid the stress of watching the range drop faster than expected.
