Why Your Charging Speed May Differ
The Mini Aceman supports up to 95 kW DC charging. Pod Point chargers deliver up to 150 kW. Your car's maximum intake is the limiting factor here, capping speed at 95 kW even on a faster charger.
- Charging slows down above 80% state of charge on most EVs, including the Mini Aceman.
- Cold weather reduces charging speed. If your Mini Aceman supports battery preconditioning, use the built-in navigation to warm the battery before arriving.
- If multiple cars share the same Pod Point station, power may be split between stalls.
