Why Your Charging Speed May Differ

The Lotus Emeya supports up to 350 kW DC charging. Be.EV chargers deliver up to 300 kW. The network's maximum power is lower than what the car can accept, so your effective speed tops out at roughly 300 kW.

  • Charging slows down above 80% state of charge on most EVs, including the Lotus Emeya.
  • Cold weather reduces charging speed. If your Lotus Emeya supports battery preconditioning, use the built-in navigation to warm the battery before arriving.
  • If multiple cars share the same Be.EV station, power may be split between stalls.
