Scanner Use Case
Understanding your charging receipt? Scan it.
Updated March 2026
The situation
The charger printed a receipt or the app shows a session summary. It has numbers for kWh delivered, session duration, peak power, idle time, and a total price. You want to know if you were charged fairly, what each line means, and whether the per-kWh price was reasonable for this network.
How the scanner helps
Scan the receipt or session summary screen and the scanner breaks down each line item. It explains the energy delivered, shows you your average charging speed, identifies any idle fees or session fees, and puts the per-kWh price in context. You know exactly what you paid for and why.
What to do
- 1
Scan the receipt or session summary on the charger screen or in the app
- 2
Read the breakdown of energy, time, and cost
- 3
Check if the scanner identifies any idle fees or additional charges
- 4
Compare the per-kWh price against the scanner's context for this network
