This guide uses approximate data. Charging speeds, prices, and compatibility depend on your specific vehicle variant, station hardware, network access policy, and conditions. EVcourse is not affiliated with Maserati or Tesla Supercharger. Always check your vehicle manual, the charger screen, and the network app before relying on a charger.

~24 minutes at up to 250 kW

Step by Step

Find a Tesla Supercharger station

Open the Tesla app or use a charging map like PlugShare to find a nearby station. Before you drive there, confirm the site is open to non-Tesla vehicles and the stall has a compatible CCS2 connector.

Start your session

Start the session in the Tesla app. If the stall has a payment terminal, you may also be able to tap your bank card or phone there.

Plug in the CCS2 connector

At a Supercharger stall open to non-Tesla vehicles, take the CCS2 cable and connect it to your Maserati GranTurismo Folgore's charging port. You should hear a click when the connector locks in. Your car's display will confirm the connection.

Charging starts

Once connected, your Maserati GranTurismo Folgore can pull up to 270 kW. On Tesla Supercharger chargers (up to 250 kW), your effective maximum is 250 kW. You will see the current power and estimated time on either the charger screen or your car's display.

Charging speed is fastest when your battery is between 10% and 50%. It gradually slows as the battery fills up. This is normal and protects battery health.

When to unplug

For the fastest experience, unplug at 80%. Charging from 80% to 100% takes almost as long as 10% to 80% on most EVs, including the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore. On a road trip, stopping at 80% and driving to the next charger is usually faster than waiting for 100%. Check your vehicle's manual for charge limit recommendations.

Charging Speed on Tesla Supercharger

Your Maserati GranTurismo Folgore peaks at 270 kW DC. Tesla Supercharger chargers deliver up to 250 kW, so your effective maximum on this network is 250 kW.

Charging from 10% to 80% takes about 24 minutes under good conditions. This is an estimate based on the lower charger power. In practice, it may be somewhat faster because the car's charging curve is not linear. The Maserati GranTurismo Folgore charges fastest between 10% and 50%, then gradually slows as the battery fills.

Actual speed depends on several factors: battery temperature (cold batteries charge slower), your current state of charge (charging slows above 50-60%), and how many other cars are sharing the same station. If other cars are plugged in at the same location, the charger may split power between them.

Payment Options at Tesla Supercharger

  • Tesla app. Download the app, create an account, and link a payment method. Start and stop sessions from your phone.
  • Contactless payment. Use this only at Supercharger stalls with a payment terminal. Availability varies by site, so check the Tesla app and station hardware before relying on it.

Approximate ad-hoc price: 0.55 EUR/kWh. Actual prices vary by location and time. Subscriptions or roaming cards may offer lower rates.

Tips for Charging Maserati GranTurismo Folgore on Tesla Supercharger

  • Charge to 80% for the fastest experience. Charging slows significantly above 80%, so stopping at 80% saves you the most time on road trips. Check your vehicle's manual for charge limit recommendations.
