Explanation
ChaoJi is a new charging connector standard being developed as a collaboration between China's GB/T standard organization and Japan's CHAdeMO Association. The connector is smaller and more ergonomic than current CCS2 connectors despite supporting higher power levels. It uses liquid cooling for the cable and advanced safety features. The development process includes backward compatibility with existing GB/T and CHAdeMO infrastructure through adapters.
ChaoJi is still in development and not yet commercially deployed.
