Tips to Reduce Charging Costs

  • Use the Skoda Connect app to schedule home charging overnight. The 77 kWh battery fills in about 7 hours on an 11 kW wallbox, perfectly timed for off-peak electricity rates.
  • The Enyaq's peak DC speed of 135 kW is available roughly between 10-50% state of charge. Arriving at a fast charger with a lower battery level gets you the fastest, most cost-efficient charge.
  • Set your daily charge limit to 80%. The Enyaq's charging speed drops above 80%, making the last portion slow and expensive at time-based DC chargers.
  • The Enyaq's excellent efficiency of 16.9 kWh per 100 km means even moderately priced public AC chargers are affordable for daily top-ups. If you cannot charge at home, regular AC charging at work or shopping centers is a good alternative.
  • Precondition the cabin and battery before departure while still plugged in. The Enyaq's heat pump availability varies by trim, but preconditioning always reduces the energy taken from the battery for climate control.

The Enyaq is one of the cheapest EVs to charge per kilometer thanks to its low consumption. Home charging overnight at off-peak rates maximizes this advantage. For road trips, the 135 kW DC speed handles the 10-80% window in about 30 minutes. That is enough to grab lunch and get back on the road.
